He detailed Bitdeer’s ambitious SEALMINER roadmap, including our goal to deliver chips with approximately 5 J/TH efficiency within nine months. This level of performance can be achieved without relying solely on the costliest semiconductor process nodes. Both Haris and Leo emphasized Bitdeer’s proactive steps to mitigate trade flow and supply chain disruption, such as investing in onshore US manufacturing in the latter half of this year. This initiative complements our existing data center footprint in the U.S, Norway and Bhutan; and our upcoming facilities in Ethiopia and Alberta, Canada.

He shared how miners depend on clear and reliable information about machine release dates, performance specifications, and delivery schedules to make sound investment decisions. Haris highlighted the SEALMINER A2 series, which offers both hydro and air-cooling options. Bitdeer is prioritizing security and reliability, and will focus on enhancing proprietary firmware rather than reply on open-source options.

Bitdeer’s approach to vertical integration was another discussion focal point on the mining stage at Bitcoin 2025. Haris explained how our integration spans ASIC design, data center construction, mobile solutions, software, cloud services, and power generation. Our recent acquisition of power generation assets in Alberta, Canada is just one example of how we are building a resilient and scalable platform that will serve the mining community well into the future. Once complete, the Alberta site will be the world’s first fully vertically integrated bitcoin mining facility, where Bitdeer produces both the silicon and the energy. This pioneering model will set a new standard for resilience, efficiency, and sustainability in the mining industry.
