1. Acceptance
By submitting any security vulnerability report, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
2. Lawful Research and Prohibited Conduct
2.1 You shall conduct all research and reporting activities in full compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
2.2 This document does not constitute authorization for any testing of Bitdeer systems. No scanning, probing, or penetration testing of Bitdeer websites, systems, or platforms is permitted unless expressly authorized in writing by Bitdeer.
2.3 Your activities must be conducted solely for the purpose of identifying and validating vulnerabilities, and you must not harm, disrupt, or interfere with Bitdeer, its affiliates, customers, or partners.
3. Data Access and Confidentiality
3.1 Any access to company, customer, or third-party data shall be strictly limited to the minimum extent necessary to demonstrate the vulnerability.
3.2 If you inadvertently access any personal or confidential information, you shall immediately stop access, notify Bitdeer and delete such data upon submission or upon Bitdeer’s request.
3.3 You may not disclose or publish any vulnerability details to any third party or the public unless Bitdeer has given prior written consent or has publicly disclosed the vulnerability.
3.4 The confidentiality obligation remains in effect until Bitdeer publicly discloses the vulnerability or expressly releases you from confidentiality in writing.
4.Submission and Intellectual Property
4.1 You represent and warrant that your submission is your own original work or that you have the lawful right to submit it.
4.2 You hereby grant Bitdeer a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free, sublicensable, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, analyze, and store your submission solely for the purposes of verification, remediation, and security improvement.
5. Rewards and Compensation
5.1 Your participation is voluntary. Submission of a report does not entitle you to any form of compensation or reward.
5.2 Bitdeer may, at its sole discretion, offer a discretionary reward or recognition for certain qualifying submissions, subject to Bitdeer’s applicable Security Vulnerability Submissions (if any).
6. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
6.1 Bitdeer explicitly prohibits and does not authorize any unlawful or destructive activity.
6.2 You are solely responsible for any expense, damage, or loss resulting from your participation in submitting a vulnerability report.
6.3 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bitdeer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your submission.
6.4 Bitdeer retains sole and absolute discretion over any public disclosure, external communication, or attribution related to any vulnerability.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
8. General
8.1 Bitdeer may modify or update these Terms at any time, with such modifications effective upon posting.
8.2 If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
